Use two d-rings to obtain a flush, trip free surface to secure cargo weighing less than 800 lbs. Tiedown pans are designed to mount flush to mounting surface making them ideal for trailers along with other applications. To install this recessed attachment it requires routing, or cutting a hole in the floor. The closer you install to a floor beam the stronger the d-ring. Zinc plated tie offs are perfect for those looking for extra corrosion resistance without the expense of stainless steel. To obtain maximum strength it is recommended to install these d-rings with bolts, lock nuts, and fender washers (wide diameter). These recessed tie down rings pivot up when in use and pivot down into pan when not in use. The 1/4" diameter ring measures 2-1/8" wide X 1-3/4" long. 1/4" tapered securing holes are on a 4" center. 1/4" drainage hole.
